The COVID-19 Vaccine

The COVID-19 vaccine is rolling out in communities via local health departments, major hospitals and massive vaccination sites for high-risk groups at this time; yet questions remain regarding further distribution.

What we know and what is yet to come >>

We do know:

The EBT/RMT will cover 100 percent of the cost if members receive the vaccine, just as in the case of any other vaccine.
It does not matter where a member receives a vaccine, whether at a pharmacy or a doctor’s office, an appropriate billing code for each visit is established.
If receiving vaccination at any other site that does NOT take a member’s insurance, a member can pay for the vaccine, if required, and will be reimbursed by the EBT/RMT.

We do NOT know:

When we will be able to hold any type of clinic for the vaccine until a more significant distribution is made available.
