Christian Brothers Services offers a comprehensive range of risk control services to Risk Pooling Trust (RPT) members at no additional cost. These services are designed to help Catholic organizations manage and prevent risks associated with their operations in advance.
RPT Members have access to a large library of over 300 online training modules in risk management, safety, child abuse prevention, and human resources. The modules are designed to educate employees on reducing accidents and losses. Each module concludes with a brief quiz to reinforce key points, and managers can track progress and quiz scores through an intuitive platform. Participants can also download a certificate of achievement upon completion.
Since cyber threats keep growing in terms of sophistication, Risk Solutions offers intensive online cyber training modules and a Cyber Security Toolkit. These platforms give managers, supervisors, and employees the tools needed to battle cybersecurity threats such as ransomware attacks and phishing schemes.
Along with on-demand modules, risk control specialists provide live virtual training sessions on a range of topics, offered free to RPT members. Training sessions provide interactive learning experiences and cover many varied risk management topics.
For a promotion of sound driving habits and possibly lowering car coverage rates, Risk Solutions provides free, 90-minute safe driver training to religious organizations. Those who participate may be eligible to earn credits on their auto contributions through the Fleet Credit Program. The training covers some standard safe driving practices that helps keep communities safe and even lowers the cost of their vehicle coverage.
Risk Solutions also offers a Behind the Wheel Driver Screening Program to help determine at-risk religious drivers. This program gives safe driver suggestions and recommendations for at-risk drivers, including the possibility of requiring a more comprehensive driver medical exam to determine if they should continue to drive. The program works to foster safe driving behavior that can eradicate injury to drivers as well as other motorists on the road.
The Risk Factor newsletter that you are currently reading and those in its archive offer vital information and downloadable resources on risk management topics. In addition, the members' section of the CBS website includes toolkits on topics such as driver monitoring, prevention of slips, trips, and falls, safety communication, and security preparedness.We created these risk control services specifically to meet the unique needs of Catholic organizations. Using these tools, members can actively manage risks and enhance the safety and well-being of their communities while protecting their ministries.
