Risk Management Services welcomes Diocese of Green Bay
Risk Management Services has an established relationship with AON, which brought the Diocese of Green Bay into the program, making Risk Pooling Trust history as the first Diocese to become a member of the Workers’ Compensation Risk Management Program and the second largest Diocese within the Christian Brothers Services membership.
“It really is all about relationships,” said Donna Bertino, RMS, Director of Underwriting, who explains that the contact came through the current member Daughters of Charity’s broker, AON. They recommended CBS to the Diocese of Green Bay. Daughters of Charity has been a member of the Risk Pooling Trust since 2013.
When the AON broker contacted Donna and inquired about a Workers Compensation quote, Donna said, “We have never provided coverage for a Diocese Workers Compensation program before, but we could certainly send the submission to our carrier.” After receiving that approval, Risk Management Services sent a proposal.
This now opens the door for CBS Health Benefits and Retirement Planning Services, as these programs were brought to the attention of AON and the possibility of future collaborations.
“The majority of new members come from word of mouth,” said Bertino. “In fostering the relationship for over 10 years with the Daughters of Charity and their broker, AON, by providing comprehensive coverage and a suite of services, they trust and believe in our program.
